Plan, in person, to attend the West Volusia Historical Society Local History Talk on Tuesday, February 18th, from 5:30-6:30 pm to hear Volusia County Schools leader Al Bouie share his personal experience of the formal integration of DeLand High School, the changes in the community since 1968 and the work that remains to be done.  We will meet at the WV Historical Society at 137 W Michigan Ave, DeLand, FL. There will be NO FORMAL ZOOM meeting that night. The event is FREE and open to the public.

Join us for an inspiring hour with George Lakey! Over many decades, George has trained thousands in nonviolence—including NP’s first team in Sri Lanka back in 2003. On February 27, hear directly from George on his experience assisting movements for justice and peace, from the ’60s civil rights movement to today’s fight for climate justice.
